Crew management

Our Crew management service includes a range of activities including, recruitment and selection, training, and management of officers and ratings deployed on a wide array of vessel types.

To ensure quality, these services are primarily managed by an extensive network of recruitment offices spread across India, Philippines, Bangladesh and China; countries which serve as the primary manning source for the world's merchant fleet.

Information relating to the 8000 seafarers, arguable the backbone of our manning profile is managed by a state of the art crewing module. Encased within the PARIS ambit, the crewing module stores data and makes information available to users throughout the network. This ensures a good fit between available skill sets and the special needs of every ship.

The crewing module also integrates with other financial and operational modules used by the group to provide for a fully developed suite.

Training

We have our own Training Institute, was founded in 2010 in India and greatly expanded using state of the art simulators and audio visual aids to meet the rapid growth of the fleet.

The institute is a DNV Certified and Director General of Shipping approved Maritime Training Centre. Courses comply with the requirements of the STCW 95 Convention and the guidelines of Directorate General of Shipping, India.

We conduct DGS approved courses on Full Mission Engine Room and 180 degree full-mission Bridge Simulators at both operational and management levels.

TOLAS' (Training on Land and Sea) is a web based training system developed totally in-house. By TOLAS, we have become a world leader in providing online web-based training. With the rollout of TOLAS to the entire fleet and fully integrated ship-to-shore training fulfilling the much needed. The Institute produces much of its own course materials. Videos are shot onboard vessels and produced by the institute's in-house creative team resulting in high quality in terms of content and cost effectiveness in terms of value.

Technical management

As a Progressive and Proactive Ship Manager, VIVI maritime service and logistic has under its management all types of ships (Reefer, Chemical Tankers, Bulk carriers, Gas Tankers amongst others). The Company draws on its pool of experienced Manpower and Resources, which are at its disposal both ashore and afloat. It utilizes proven systems based on internationally recognized Quality Management principles.

Ships are inspected at regular intervals of three months by the technical superintendent to ensure a very close follow-up of shipboard activities. Furthermore, computer based systems are used to monitor vessel performance. Data sent by ships is analysed ashore to optimize vessels speed and consumption performance. Moreover, VIVI Maritime service and logistic pvt, ltd has the flexibility to meet all owners' needs for periodic technical and accounting reports. We are geared to provide you with any information you require - at any time.

Superintendence and Special Projects

We provide vessel up-gradation and conversion services; from mega alterations of a vessel's function, to minor repair and upgrading works. The service includes feasibility studies, design, planning and execution of conversion works.

We also provide for in-port and at sea independent contracting and supervision of repair & maintenance services for a wide range of vessel types on behalf of its clients. Service delivery varies from the basic supervisory services to the deployment of cost effective riding squads composed of welders, fitters, machinery supervisors, carpenters, plumbers and pipe fitters.

Ship Spares Supply

Our stocks include machinery and spares of most makes and types, procured from ex-vessels that arrive at ship breaking yards. Inventory ranges from o-rings and seals to complete main engines and generators, ready for shipment by air, ocean or for in port delivery. We hold 1100 Tons or more of ready to use marine machinery at any given point in time. In Jan 2012, all stocks will be consolidated at the new state of the art multilevel stacking 2500 Metric Ton holding warehouse and marine workshop. Keep watching this space for updates. Major Overhauls and Emergency repairs are carried out by our team. We execute all type repairs ranging from emergency makeshift repairs to permanent machinery repairs.

We undertake E/R machinery repairs in ports around the world.
We also indulge in D/D repairs for hull etc.
